This week, two of my articles were published independently.
My article: Networking for Relationships, not Transactions was published in Women's Business Journal - Boston, the April 1, 2006 edition. In it, I talk about building relationships to see if there's a future to pursue instead of trying to close a sale when you meet someone at a networking event. There is an art to building relationships and there are a lot of skills involved in networking well that will result in more cash in your pockets. This article just gets you started.
My article: Top Ten Don'ts for Starting a New Business, was just published in the Holistic Business Journal, April 2006. It applies to any size business in any field. All of us get caught by some of this gotchas no matter how carefully we try to avoid them.
